Rollercoat manufactures overvarnish rollers in a variety of diameters and widths. In an effort to provide a better solution for two piece can manufacturers, our founder, Joe Lancaster, developed a design for a roller with replaceable sleeve that was patented (US5,451,198) in 1995. This design greatly reduced shipping weight and costs as customers no longer needed to ship their complete core for recovering. This also eliminated the number of hubs needed to keep the can lines running. A used sleeve (slip-on) could be switched out in just a matter of minutes.
